Ms. Peggy Jones---Class Site
An EXCITING and heartfelt welcome to all!
My name is Peggy Jones, and I’m so grateful to remain part of the Bridle Ridge family for my second year. Third grade is a special year for me; it is when I really knew I wanted to spend my life teaching children. So, I’m very excited to be back in 3rd grade in this role. I’ve taught MANY grades, in MANY places, for MANY years! Since 1995, my time has been dedicated to children. I spent four of those at home with my two, personal kiddos, but the rest of them have been spent helping other children learn and grow.
I grew up in Illinois but have lived in Missouri since college (1991!) From private to public schools and rural to urban areas, I’ve experienced (and learned) so much during each of my professional adventures. I’m pleased to continue dedicating my time and talent to all our Mustangs!

Who Am I?
Goals... |
When I’m not working, I like to read and write. Listening to music and sleeping in or napping are other favorite pastimes of mine. I also enjoy spending time at Truman Lake and being with my son, Jake and my daughter, Erynn. While taking care of a dog, two cats, and a blue-tongued skink is a lot of work, our household critters also give us lots of love. I’m sure you’ll hear many great stories about things that happen in the Jones home! This summer I’ve worked hard to make things in third grade even more exciting and fun.

Knowing that we often find what we expect, I’m looking forward to a supportive classroom community that works together as a team to help each of us meet our goals. We’ll also embark upon a journey of deeper learning. We will become better readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists, and citizens than we already are. No successful, third-grade classroom would be complete without lots of laughs and stories too. I’m looking forward to meeting you all and getting this sure-to-be-amazing school year off to a great start!
